iOS access and add-to-home-screen
On iPhone or iPad, open Safari or Chrome and navigate to inatoto.app. Log in with your account credentials. We do not offer a native iOS app through the App Store, but our web experience is fully optimized for iOS and runs as smoothly as a native app. You can add inatoto to your home screen for quick access—tap the Share button, select "Add to Home Screen", and choose a name. The shortcut will appear on your home screen like any other app.
When you open inatoto from your home screen shortcut, it launches in full-screen mode without the Safari address bar, giving you an app-like experience. Your login session persists, so you stay signed in between visits. Push notifications work through the web app, alerting you to market updates and account activity. All your account data syncs automatically across your iPhone, iPad, and Android devices.
App versus browser—which should you use?
Our native Android app offers offline caching, meaning you can view your account balance and recent transactions even without an internet connection. The app also sends push notifications directly to your phone, so you never miss a market update or withdrawal confirmation. App performance is slightly faster because the app runs natively on your device without a browser layer. The Android app also integrates with your phone's biometric authentication—use your fingerprint or face recognition to log in securely.
The iOS web experience is nearly identical in speed and functionality. You get the same account access, deposit options (DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet), and withdrawal flow. The main difference is that iOS web does not support offline caching or native push notifications—you must check the app manually for updates. If you prefer a dedicated app icon on your home screen, the add-to-home-screen shortcut provides that convenience. Choose the Android app if you want offline access and push notifications; choose the iOS web app if you prefer simplicity and do not need offline features.

Device compatibility and requirements
Our Android app runs on Android 7.0 and above. Most phones released in the last five years meet this requirement. You need at least 50 MB of free storage to install the app. The app works on any screen size—phones, tablets, and foldable devices. Our iOS web app works on iOS 12 and above, covering all modern iPhones and iPads. No storage is required for the web app; it runs entirely in your browser. Both versions require an active internet connection to access your account, deposit funds, or place predictions. We recommend a 4G or WiFi connection for the smoothest experience, though the app works on 3G networks.
Troubleshooting common installation issues
If you see "Unknown sources" error on Android, go to Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps, find your file manager, and toggle permission on. If the APK file does not install, try downloading it again—the file may have been corrupted. If you see a certificate warning, this is normal for direct APK downloads; tap "Install anyway" to proceed. On iOS, if the web app does not load, clear your Safari cache by going to Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data, then try again. If push notifications do not work on Android, check Settings → Apps → inatoto → Notifications and ensure notifications are enabled. If you cannot log in, verify that your username and password are correct, and check that your account has completed KYC verification. If you forget your password, use the "Forgot password" link on the login screen to reset it via email.
Data, permissions, and account security
Our Android app requests permission to access your phone's storage (for caching), contacts (for account recovery), and location (optional, for regional content). We do not sell or share these permissions with third parties. Your login credentials are never stored on your device—only a secure session token is cached. When you log out, the session token is deleted. All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS 1.2 or higher. Your personal data (name, email, phone number, payment details) is encrypted at rest on our servers. We comply with data-protection regulations and do not retain your data longer than necessary. You can request a copy of your data or request deletion by contacting our support team. Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security—even if someone obtains your password, they cannot access your account without the verification code sent to your phone.
